Eligibility Criteria
B.Sc. Nursing
- Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
- The minimum educational requirement shall be the passing of Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2), or an equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) & English, with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCBE) for general candidates, with 5% relaxation for SC, ST & OBC candidates.

GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery)
- 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However, Science is preferable.
- 10+2 with English having 40% marks in vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
- 10+2 with English having 40% marks in Vocational Stream – Health Care Science from a recognized CBSE board / State / Central board.
- Registered ANM with pass mark.

M.Sc. Nursing
The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife, or equivalent, with any State Nursing Registration Council.
The minimum educational requirements are as follows:
- B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks
- The candidate must have completed the above program from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council
- Minimum 1 year of experience after obtaining Basic B.Sc. Nursing
- The candidate must be medically fit and should have at least 1 year of work experience as a Registered Nurse after completing the B.Sc. course
- 5% relaxation in marks may be provided for SC/ST candidates
