Academic Block
All B.Sc. (N) & M.Sc. (N) classrooms are well-ventilated, and equipped with good lighting, modern furniture and projection facilities. A high-quality PA system is also installed for enhanced learning experiences.
Classrooms
- B.Sc. Nursing: 4 classrooms, each with a seating capacity of 100 students.
- M.Sc. Nursing: 7 classrooms in total—2 common classrooms for 1st and 2nd year classes, and 5 rooms for specialty courses.
All classrooms are well-ventilated, equipped with good lighting, modern furniture, and projection facilities. A high-quality PA system is also installed for enhanced learning experiences.
Administrative Block
The Administrative Block includes offices for the Principal, Secretary, Vice Principal, Office Staff, and the Accounts Department, along with a conference room.
Laboratories
The laboratories in the academic block are designed in accordance with the standards set by the Indian Nursing Council. The available labs include:

These laboratories provide state-of-the-art learning facilities, allowing students to develop technical skills before working with patients, further enhances learning by allowing students to practice both technical and non-technical skills—such as communication, teamwork, and decision-making—through trial and error, guided by faculty mentors during debriefing sessions. This training instils confidence in students, enabling them to deliver nursing care effectively while minimizing errors due to in experience.
Clinical Facilities
Clinical experiences for students are facilitated at PIMS Hospital various departments, which is within the campus. These facilities collectively offer over 1000 beds.
Students have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including both male and female individuals across all age groups and different stages of illness. Faculty members are assigned to guide students in all clinical areas, maintaining a student-to-faculty ratio of 1:10.
Hostel & Mess
The college offers separate, secure hostels for boys and girls with clean, well-furnished rooms and 24/7 CCTV surveillance. Nutritious, hygienic meals are served in a well-maintained mess with a focus on health and variety. Facilities include Wi-Fi, power backup, clean drinking water, and regular housekeeping.
A safe and comfortable environment ensures students feel at home while focusing on their studies.
Transportation
The college provides reliable transport for students to reach PIMS Hospitals and clinical training sites with ease. Faculty members also benefit from convenient pick-up and drop-off services along designated staff routes. All vehicles are well-maintained, ensuring safety, punctuality, and comfort. Library
Our well-equipped library offers access to national and international journals, updated reference and revised nursing textbooks. Students can explore a rich collection of e-books, e-journals, nursing procedures, and teaching videos. Resources also include previous question papers, syllabi, and teaching materials for academic support. A quiet, tech-enabled space encourages focused learning and research excellence.

Available options include Post-Matric Scholarships, Government Scholarships, and TNAI/SNA Scholarships.

Anti-Ragging Committee
At Venkteshwar School/College of Nursing, we maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. The Anti-Ragging Committee ensures strict enforcement of anti-ragging regulations in accordance with UGC and INC guidelines. Our Anti-Ragging Committee actively works to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment. Regular awareness sessions, monitoring, and grievance redressal mechanisms are in place to prevent any form of misconduct.
All students are required to sign an anti-ragging affidavit as part of the admission process.
